During the last few years, the consumption of mixed bristles in paint brush industry has became very popular and preferable as of the huge price increase in natural bristle prices as well as the environmental factors.
The mixing process, originally aimed to obtain a uniform quality and colour of bristles, pig hairs and fibres became more and more important in the last years in order to obtain synthetic mixtures of different formulations and characteristics, made with all kinds of synthetic filaments, available nowadays thanks to advanced technologies of production.
The mixture we prepare is called ‘CHM mixture’ which is a blend of natural bristles and tapered synthetic bristle imitation which gives excellent results in performance. The paint brushes that manufactured with this mixture gives exactly the same performance as the natural bristles with oil based paints and even better results with the water based paints. Beside these technical benefits of premium bristle blend, there is also a considerable price advantage by 30% in average depending on the size of the bristle.
